Are you a creative with the tools, talent, and heart to bring joy to live events? Patch of Joy is building a network of Joytenders™ — independent creatives who provide on-site personalization services at events nationwide.

What is a Joytender™?

A Joytender™ is a certified creative who delivers live personalization experiences at events. Joytenders™ are independent contractors who bring their own equipment and supplies, manage setup and breakdown, and engage guests through live customization services.

Who We’re Looking For

As a Joytender™ you will:

  • Deliver live creative customization experiences (embroidery, embossing or engraving) at events in your city

  • Engage guests with warmth, clarity, and professionalism

  • Set up and operate your own mobile creative station

  • Collaborate with Patch of Joy on event details and guest experience

  • Represent the Patch of Joy brand at events


How it Works

  • Joytenders™ set their own hourly rates, and Patch of Joy takes a 25% platform fee per booking

  • Patch of Joy provides booking requests, client communication, and payment processing

  • All bookings are routed through Patch of Joy

  • Joytenders™ are offered booking requests based on city, service and availability

This model allows you to focus on your craft and guest experience while Patch of Joy supports client acquisition and operations.


What You Bring

  • A machine operated live creative service you can offer on-site (embroidery, embossing or engraving)

  • Your own equipment and supplies for your service category

  • Prior experience with your machinery is preferred

  • Comfort engaging with guests in live event environments

  • Reliability, professionalism, and clear communication

  • Availability for events in your local market

  • Creative minds! No artistic talent is required, as our services are all machine operated


Certification & Training

All Joytenders™ must complete the Live Event Activation Certification Course prior to accepting bookings.
The Certification Course is provided at no cost to hired Joytenders™. This establishes shared standards for professionalism, safety, and guest experience.

Location

Nationwide — Joytenders are matched with events in their local markets. Specifically prioritizing major cities including Phoenix, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago and Nashville.
