Meet the founder, Joy
Joy Dempsey launched Patch of Joy in 2025 to blend her background in marketing, events, and fine arts into something deeply personal—and deeply community-driven. What started as a creative outlet has grown into a mission to uplift small Black-owned businesses through custom, meaningful design.
Working from her home office in Arizona—her own "patch of joy"—Joy personally brings each idea to life, combining artistry with intention. Inspired by her name and purpose, she’s committed to helping others share their message with pride, creativity, and joy.
